Big Heart Challenge helps fill little tummies

The children of the school welcomed the kind gesture and enjoyed the nutritious meals.

The students of Klm Empowered Multi Choice Group based at Old Mutual Durban participated in the 275 Big Heart Challenge by feeding 650 children at the Tyburn Primary School, situated in the heart of Chatsworth recently.

Members of the organisation extended their thanks and appreciation to Tyburn Primary School for allowing them use to their facility and also parents and staff members who assisted. Special thanks were also given to Klm Empowered for allowing students to work as a team, thus ensuring a successful challenge.

They believe that putting a smile on a child’s face always brings a smile to their. Member of the organisation, Janisha Singh also thanked CEO of the Rising Sun Community Newspapers, Mr Vijay Maharaj for being a role model and inspiration to everyone around him and for also motivating others to give back to the community.
