Books to capture pupils’ imaginations

St Mary’s Primary School recently received 300 books to add to their new library to help promote reading. The initiative has seen the school buy a number of books for the media centre with sponsorships still coming in steadily.

Each sponsored book will have a sticker detailing the names of those who donated the book. Principal, Roshan Ramdheen, said ,”We would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported this initiative. You have contributed to making our children a reading nation. Please feel free to visit our library.”

The school is still appealing to potential sponsors to support the initiative to encourage reading among future generations.
