Countdown to Crazy Hats Fun Walk begins

The countdown to the fun-filled Crazy Hats Fun Walk has officially begun and organisers are going beyond to call of duty to ensure that the event is once again a ‘crazy’ success! The event is being hosted by Child Welfare Durban and Districts in association with Morris Fuller Williams.

With a few day to go, a special call is being made to the public to come out in their numbers and show their support towards the praiseworthy walk, which, since its inception, has signified unity and of course, colour and a touch of ‘craziness’.

The Crazy Hats Fun Walk is a delightful event, which covers a distance of 5kms. The walk, which is taking place on Saturday, July 8, will commence at the North Beach Amphitheatre and will head towards Suncoast and then back to the beach.

To add to the excitement of the day, stallholders will also be present and lots of entertainment for children will also be provided. In addition to this, there will be prizes for the top three most creative hats and lucky draw prizes as well! Should residents require any further information regarding the event, they are more than welcome to call 031 312-9313 or send an email to [email protected]
