The Bayview United Football Club hosted a successful family sports day and club presentation at the Bayview Road grounds, recently.

The players and their families were treated to a hearty breakfast and lunch and then participated in the sports events which were planned for the day. The highlight of the sports events was the men’s tug-of-war where the Bayview muscle men pulled each other to retain their title for 2017.

The ladies highlight event was the musical chairs and awards were given to the winner and runners-up.  The guest of honour, Vis Muruven praised the football club for the sterling work done in the Chatsworth region.

The strong leadership of Pat Naidoo and his hard working officials is praiseworthy and I am confident that the club will move from strength to strength,” he added.
