A basketful of fun awaits little ones at Easter egg hunt

Easter is once again almost here and children around Durban are looking forward to a holiday filled with sweet treats, chocolate eggs and loads of colourful candy. The Easter holidays not only symbolise Jesus Christ and his ultimate sacrifice but also symbolises joy, blessings, peace, unity and smiles all around.

This special long weekend will see tons of ‘egg-citing’ activities being hosted in Durban and surrounding areas so why not be part of the festivities? The hunt will be on for all things sweet and chocolatey at Durban’s first Botanic Gardens Easter Eggsplorer Egg Hunt which will take place on April 15 and 16, 2017.

The organisers are absolutely amped for the event and have planned two separate hunts for the four to 14-year-old children and for the one to three-year-old children. Other fun-filled activities will include face painting and family games.

Children can even get up close and personal with the beautiful bunnies from the Bunny Farm while the Sticky Fingers Cupcake stand will generate funds for the ‘Feeding the Furballs’ scheme. It promises to be an ‘egg-stravagant’ day!
