VIDEO: Havenside rape accused to reappear in court later today

Angered residents protested against bail outside court.

The father accused of raping his two daughters appeared briefly in the Chatsworth Magistrate’s Court, this morning.

Met with screams of anger and disgust from irate residents inside the courtroom, the 50-year-old man, who wore the same clothes as his first appearance in court last Monday, seemed undaunted by the public outcry.

The case was postponed to later today as the docket for the second charge of rape was still being prepared.

A large group of residents gathered outside the courthouse to oppose bail and show their support to the children who were allegedly raped by their father.
