Wentworth police arrests pensioner (61) for selling drugs

The dagga which was found in the woman’s possession.

A 61-year-old woman appeared in Wentworth Court on Monday after she was arrested for selling ‘dagga’ in the area, on Sunday.

The Wentworth Crime Prevention Unit were patrolling the district when they received information about drugs being sold in a Tuin Road Flat.

“The members acted upon receiving the information and found a woman to be selling dagga from her flat. The woman was arrested and 81 slopes of dagga wrapped in newspaper were recovered,” said Wentworth SAPS communications officer, Cpt MP Gumede.
