Positive vibes at flea-market

Volunteers of the Inner-Circle Flea-Market.

The positive vibes and happy atmosphere at the Inner Circle Flea-Market at the Nelson Mandela Chatsworth Youth Centre, on the first Sunday of every month is a warm and welcoming gesture to anyone visiting the market.

The friendship among stall-holders and volunteers, who meet monthly to host the market, can be a great experience for anyone wanting to start a stall.

The market at the youth centre has helped empower many people, young and old, by creating an opportunity to earn money. The dedicated volunteers are truly supportive, while seasoned stall-holders are always happy to dispense good advice on how to make the market a greater success.

Sherly Nair, a youth centre volunteer said, “We truly look forward to the market every month. Besides generating income for the youth centre, we have created a wonderful community experience that brings volumes of happiness to customers, stall holders, volunteers and entertainers alike. It also provides a place of meeting, not only for family, friends, and shoppers, but for fellow small business owners to meet and build support systems. All in all, it promotes a positive environment for everyone involved, and a fun way to spend your Sunday.” For more information, call or WhatsApp Clive Pillay on 061-429-2574.
