Tons of bargains at Malvern Child and Youth Care Centre

Petro Gibbs is ready to welcome and assist you at the MCYCC bargain shop.

The bargain shop at the Malvern Child and Youth Care Centre (previously known as the Malvern Children’s Home) will be extending its trading hours to cater for weekend shoppers on Saturday, February 4 from 9am until 3pm.

Shoppers can enjoy some relief after the expensive Christmas and New Year season by cashing in on huge savings that start from as little as R6 on a fantastic range of quality second-hand gents and ladies fashion items, baby clothing and clothing accessories such as shoes, handbags and jewellery.

Manager of the bargain shop, Petro Gibbs, said, “We have had so much interest in the bargain shop that we have decided to consider weekend trading for those who are unable to shop during the week due to work commitments and weekday schedules. Our new year stock has also been unpacked and is on display at seriously reduced prices, so we are looking forward to a busy day on Saturday, February 4.”

When you shop at the bargain shop, you are also helping to raise funds for the Malvern Child and Youth Care Centre’s child development programmes that provide a safe home, three meals a day, educational and therapeutic support for 120 orphaned and vulnerable children.

The bargain shop is located at 11 Coniston Lane at the side gate of the Malvern Child and Youth Care Centre. The normal trading hours are Monday to Friday from 8am until 2pm.
