Malvern SAPS partnered with Mr Vicky Prithraj, of ‘RD Live to Learn Solutions’ who together with his son, Ryan, created a Bully Boogie Challenge board game in the form of chutes and ladders.

This game has been endorsed by the Department of Education and is a useful tool in combatting bullying at schools. Malvern SAPS launched this partnership and plans to introduce the game to schools in the area.

Corporate communications officer of Malvern SAPS, W/O Radhika Marimuthu said, “The pupils will benefit from playing the game as an exercise in recognising bullying and dealing with it. The game teaches the pupil about bullying, the different forms bullying takes and what help can be elicited. The game will be used as part of the social prevention schools programme to make pupils aware of bullying in a fun way using the game to teach and create awareness of this social ill.”

Lt Col Valarine Reddy said that she is extremely pleased with this partnership with RD Live to Learn Solutions as the game is educational and helps to teach about this worrying concept in an innovative way which is fun for pupils.
