Once again, the household name of Bayview United was echoed around the Chatsworth Stadium after two of their junior teams were crowned the SAFA Chatsworth KO Cup champions, recently.
During an exciting league, their under 17 and under 13 divisions captured the 2018 league championship and are unbeaten for the season.
The under 15 and under 11 teams finished as the runners-up in the league.
Training sessions and game planning were on top of the management and coaching teams’ agenda.
PRO of the club, Gary Moodley said, “All three sides overcame tough semi-finals to once again to earn their shot to glory. It must be further highlighted that this is the fourth consecutive year that Bayview United has three junior sides participating in a cup final.”
Players, management, parents and the executives were commended for the sterling job that they have done since inception of this gigantic name of KZN football.
“True to their vision of focusing on youth empowerment and adding value to the lives of the youngsters of Chatsworth, it is already culminating in the success of the club for the season,” said vice president, Tivolen Naidoo.
