An arrested man, who was dubbed by police as Glebelands Hostel’s most wanted murder suspect, was sentenced to 10 years behind bars following his recent court appearance.
Bongani Mbhele (38) appeared in the Scottsburgh Regional Court where he received his sentence.
He was arrested a few days ago during a joint operation by various police units.
It is believed that apart from being wanted for crimes at the Glebelands Hostel, he was also involved in crimes committed in the Montclair area.
According to reports, Mbhele pleaded guilty to an attempted murder case, leading to his sentence.
