Sweet success for PR Pather pupil

Guest of honour, Niresh Seethal, best commerce pupil in grade 10, Akeera Sewsunker, Dux awardee, Sweetness Xolelwa Mhlongo, acting principal, Yoganatha Naidoo, best commerce pupil in grade 12, Kyle Singh, Don awardee in grade 11, Mishka Rickeelal, best commerce pupil in grade 11, Caitlin Moodley and chairman of the SGB, Yusuf Ahmed Vawda.

PR Pather Secondary School held a glittering awards day ceremony, recently. Despite the challenges the school faced in the previous academic year, they are proud to announce that they excelled.

The Dux award was presented to Sweetness Xolelwa Mhlongo, who achieved distinctions for IsiZulu, Mathematics, Physical Science, Accounting, Life Science and Life Orientation. She will pursue a career in medicine at the Nelson Mandela School of Medicine.

The guest of honour was Niresh Seethal from the class of 1986. The principal, staff and SGB of the school thanked the parents, community members, sponsors, Niresh Seethal and all former pupils who contributed to the welfare of the school.  All former pupils and former teachers who wish to assist the school in any way can contact 031 468-1934.
