The parent readers, Desiree Govender and Derisha Naidoo together with the acting HOD of the school, Mrs SVP Pillay enthralled the pupils with dynamic short stories. The excited pupils were dressed in their pyjamas and brought along plush toys.

After the formal programme of reading and answering questions, the pupils were treated to toasted marshmallows on an open fire and a delightful cup of hot chocolate. Fairhaven Primary places on record its sincere thanks and appreciation to the parents, teachers and governing body for conducting the reading session.
