Organisations add a warm touch to seniors’ lives

Members of the Helping Hands.

The Merebank Helping Hands, in partnership with the Merebank Community Centre and FOSA, held a winter warmth programme, recently.

Senior citizens and residents from Merebank, Wentworth, Isipingo, Clairwood and Lamontville attended the event. The day was filled with excitement, entertainment, meals and gifts for all.

President of Helping Hands, Sharin Rajman, said, “I would like to thank Ravi Moodley for sponsoring the meals, Mahomed Limalia for the gifts and blankets and Coastal Motor Transport for their contribution towards the day,” she said.
