The Prince Cyril Zulu Sports Confederation, in partnership with the South Durban ABM, Department of Sports and Recreation and the eThekwini Municipality, hosted a Youth Sports Day at the Isipingo Beach grounds, recently.

The event was made up of all the sporting bodies around the area, with about 1000 youth who attended the day to celebrate youth day and participate in various sports.

Community leader and deputy secretary of the Prince Cyril Zulu Sports Confederation, Sharin Rajman, said that all areas get involved in the day which aims to break down social collisions.

“We get the youth to come and play various games which will keep them fit and active. We want to change mind sets, which will keep the youth off the streets and away from drugs and alcohol,” she said.
