Seniors encouraged to participate in Golden Games

Seen are some of the seniors during a recent training secession.

The Durban Association for the Aged, which promotes active ageing, is encouraging senior citizens to reclaim their lives by being more fit.

In commemoration of this, DAFTA will offer training sessions for the Golden Games which are being held at the Aviswood Grounds in Silverglen soon.

CEO of the organisation, Anitha Pillay said that it is really lovely and inspiring to see seniors in their sporting gear. Members of the organisation are very enthusiastic and energetic about the forthcoming games. Training sessions will continue and our focus is on increasing participants.
