The Happy Hearts Cardiac Rehabilitation Club of RK Khan hospital held a grand high tea and memorial service at the hospital’s dining hall, recently.

Late member of the Happy Hearts Club, Jock Munsami, passed away last year and the family members wanted to include the club in the yearly memorial service. The club responded with a programme of solemn music and religious songs which most suited the ceremony.

Members of the club were touched by the sadness and deep sense of loss expressed by the family, who shed tears throughout the programme, as the many artists rendered songs dedicated to the late Munsami.

His youngest daughter, Zoey Govender and Jerry Moonsamy, who are also members of the club, shared their heart warming tributes and members were reminded that Munsami was a long standing and very committed member at the club. The family also provided the club with sumptuous meals.

The chairman concluded by thanking the family for remembering the club in their time of dire stress and wished them everything of the best.
