Leaping to raise frog awareness

Leap Day for Frogs is held annually towards the end of February in an effort to raise awareness around the plight of frogs. This year, the Endangered Wildlife Trust chose to observe this important day to help protect one of the most threatened group of animals on Earth- frogs.

Pupils from throughout the sunny province of Durban were invited to the Durban Beachfront Promenade to play an exciting game of leapfrog. Despite the blistering heat, the little ones enjoyed participating in the initiative.

Once the game was completed, the pupils were provided with snacks and a cool beverage. Organisers wish to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported the event.
