Rotary Club hosts 100th birthday celebration

Members of the Rotary Club of Clairwood Park, together with special guests at the celebration.

The Rotary Club of Durban Clairwood Park hosted its 100th Rotary Foundation birthday at the Greyville Racecourse, recently.

About 150 guests attended the function and among the dignitaries was a representative from the Indian consulate offices in Durban, Mr SKS Rawat and several cultural leaders who graced the event.  President of the club, Sarita Sirohi, briefly shared with the audience the importance of supporting the rotary foundation, rotary’s end polio project and the many other initiatives.

To celebrate the birthday, the club members along with the chief guest cut the birthday cake.  Goody bags were also given to children which made the occasion a memorable and exciting.
