Triple murder accused sentenced to 66 years imprisonment

Triple murder accused, Master Ntuli (41) was sentenced to 66 years behind bars in the Durban High Court, recently.

Ntuli also faced double attempted murder charges and was charged for being in possession of an unlicensed firearm.

According to police reports, the incident occurred in 2015 at the Umzinyathi area. The accused had an argument with his in-laws when he shot sisters, Nompumelelo Ndwandwe (38) and Zandile Molefe (48) and Molefe’s husband, Sipho (55) dead.

The accused then handed himself over the police. He appeared in court several times before he could be sentenced.

Provincial commissioner Mmamonnye Ngobeni said that this would hopefully serve as a warning to all those involved in heinous crimes.
